The most you should need is £1,000. However, we will supply you with a costing model spreadsheet that enables you to see the return on your investment and a weekly running balance on your working capital.
In the first month you will receive your one-to-one training, help in identifying the most suitable venues and support with your local advertising / promoting the opening of your first classes. Therefore it is usually mid or late month two before you actually start trading.
Training will cover all aspects of running and managing your own classes. Your initial one-to-one training lasts 3 days and includes a visit to two classes. You will then telephone support to open your first few classes. Once you have been running a class for a month you can attend a head office workshop called "Stage 1 - The Psychology Of Slimming". All this training is included in your franchise fee you will just need to pay your own travel and accommodation expenses.
We will supply you with an Excel spreadsheet that enables you to forecast this. It is normal for you to have recouped your investment in approximately 10 months.
An on-going franchise fee of £40 per week is charged starting from week 9. This gives you time to be trained, open your own classes and start earning an income.
Yes we charge a National Advertising Levy of 1% of the gross income from each class.
We will help and advise with adverts that you can use or supply you with relevant posters or leaflets or Newspaper Advert ‘proof’s
We hold quarterly franchisee meetings. Your National Slimming Manager is always at the end of the phone to advise. We also have a forum on the franchisee website where you can ask the help of other franchisee’s and group leaders.
This is quite important and we ask that you take our advice before opening any class on the likely hood of a certain venue being a success or not.

As of yet we do not have any franchisees that have failed. We recognize that it is always possible. We try and avoid the likely hood of failure by being careful in the selection process. So please do not be offended if we think a Super Slim franchise would not be suitable for you.
You will be asked to pay for your travel costs and expenses for any visits to Head Office which will also include your one-to-one training.
We ask every potential franchisee for 2 references. We also ask for permission to perform a credit check.
